Codeine linctus care+ 15mg/5ml
Care+ syrup with codeine linctus 15mg/5ml helps relieve acute non-productive cough associated with upper respiratory tract infections by suppressing dry and tickly coughs. Dry coughs can irritate the airways, causing an urge to cough, but this usually subsides within a few weeks.
Caution Codeine linctus care+ 15mg/5ml
Do not give to children under 12 years old. Always read the patient information leaflet before using this medicine . Do not take with other cough or cold medicines
Recommended Doses
Adults: One 5ml spoonful.
Elderly: Use with caution, a reduced dose can be recommended by a doctor.
Paediatric population: Codeine should not be used for the treatment of children under the age of 18 years.
Dosage schedule
The dose may be repeated after four hours if required, but not more than 4 doses in any 24 hours.
