Active ingredients
Dihydrocodeini hydrochloridum, Diphenhydramini hydrochloridum.
Auxiliary materials
Sodium benzoate (E211) 3.5 mg / 5 ml; Citric acid; Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone; Sucrose 3.9 g / 5 ml; Cherry flavor; Elderberry concentrate; Sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) 250 mg / 5 ml; purified water. 5 ml contain 0.55 mg sodium.
Dosage
5 ml contain 10 mg Dihydrocodeini hydrochloridum and 15 mg Diphenhydramini hydrochloridum.
Indications / possible uses
Cough with flu-like infections, dry cough.
On medical prescription also for acute and chronic bronchitis.
Dosage / application
Adults over 18 years: 5 ml 2-3 times a day. A measuring cup is included for precise dosing.
Interactions makatussin syrup
In combination with central depressant drugs or alcohol, a mutual reinforcement of effects can occur, including the risk of respiratory depression. use Makatussin comp Cough syrup only two weeks after the end of therapy with MAO inhibitors.
